While I currently don't have a pet I have known Rocky for over two decades now. I have run across Rocky many times in DUMBO on his beat walking a variety of dog breeds. I have observed him to be caring and gentle knowing all the quirks and personalities of the pooches under his charge. He's a good guy and I think you'd be making a god choice going with NYDOGSROCK IMO.

New York Dogs Rock was amazing with our older dog Sam. Now with Cassie joining the family they are the only people we would call. Patient and kind to our Cassie who is a bit shy around new people and furry friends. They’ve been a true find. Cassie is so excited when Rock walks through the door. Rocky is a font of animal empathy and wisdom! My high-need energy- filled Great Dane and my super affectionate cat both love him. Home, Dog and cat sitting while I travel (as well as every day care), is simply something I don’t worry about with Rocky on duty. It’s like having a family member take care of your home and pet. Superlative and loving care.

Rocky is a phenomenal dog walker and an integral part of our family. Rocky is so much more than a dog walker - he is a lover of all his dogs and it shows. Mia loves Rocky so much that she almost seems depressed on the weekends when he doesn't come. Rocky is a fantastic walker. He has been walking my dog for a year now and he is a wonderful guy. I also consider him a friend. Uncle Rock does not call in sick, is very caring and excellent with my dog. A really nice touch is that he write emails in the evening to update you on how the walks went, bathroom status, etc. This is really nice facet of his business, especially if you're traveling for work or having evening plans and want to be updated on how the dog is doing. Rocky is reliable and friendly. Our dog loved her daily walks. When we first got our puppy, we started out with private walks in order for Rocky to help her learn how to walk on a leash. Then when she got a little older, we switched to group walks. Our pup loved playing with her friends on the group walks. Not only did she get some exercise, but it was also great for socialization.

Rock (Uncle Rock as we call him) has set a new bar for dog walking in NYC. Aside from the fact that our "Remi" is head over tail in love with him, Rock's daily updates tell the most amazing stories about our little girl's day, in a manner that parallels a children's book. He is professional, super-skilled at training canines, enforces all of the key words we use at home, and has instincts that put the dog whisperer to shame. We love him and could not be more grateful to have had Rock enter our lives.
